Honestly, I'm a Liar, & Other Balances & Imbalances

May 19, 2010

hot like

‘S gotten hot here

The moon’s away in the cool ink

over Goa,  imagine,

The cicadas that go even more raucous,

After a flash storm,

Than the hissing slick highway scream,

They stay more still than a kitten in a cat dream.

So silent and hot. My ice blends shots

(ring out) Ice shifts like the guts of clocks.

 It’s the heat
